Preserving Local History
Our goal is to preserve the original 1904 Monmouth Firehouse renovate the property, and establish a museum and memorial park.
In 2023 a group of Monmouth firefighters created a 501(c)(3) non-profit and purchased the property, saving the firehouse from it’s scheduled demolition. The organization is now working with many local businesses and partners to restore the building and create a place where the public can come to learn about local fire service history and visit the memorial park.
